Yes I bought a Mk3 Mondeo from Bolsover Cars,  found a dual mass flywheel at fault straight away and seller unwilling to help.  Cost me £585 to replace so thought I'll get it done then it will be a bang on car but No,  power steering pump is failing and battery light pops on when I turn the lights on which indicates alternator failings.  To buy these parts off ebay second hand will cost around £120 or nearly £300 brand new and god knows the price to have them fitted...  To recap, for an aging car the parts are not cheep but it makes a excellent family car being so big.  Buy cheep and prepare to pay out for repairs.  Search dual mass flywheels or Mk3 mondeo on youtube for more information...
