I would like to let you know about a scam I have been the victim of.  I sold a mobile phone on ebay on November 2nd 06 for £30.50 including postage.  The buyer seemed genuine.  He payed promptly.  On 15 January I received an email from paypal saying that he buyer had filed a CHARGEBACK through his credit card company for the monies paid to  me as he had not made the purchase, he is claiming the card was stolen.  I had sent the phone via recorded delivery, so I have proof, and it was signed for at his end.  So, someone bought it, someone signed for it.  The signature was the same name.  I am now out of pocket as paypal took the money out of my paypal account on the 15th of Jan, and the phone is gone.  My Paypal account is frozen now, and paypal offer no help what so ever.  Be very careful, paypal will not protect you, and this can happen anytime within a year from the sale date.  Check out your buyers history very carefully, if you are in any doubt about their authenticity you MUST cancel the payment there and then.  It will save you alot of disapointment and loss of money.  I hope this helps.  The buyer was amd_4321, and his email is korantengmensah_endie@ and

If anyone has come across this devious buyer please let me know.  I sent the phone to
