The Signature Black Blazer

A well-tailored, sleek  black blazer is an obvious must-have in everyone's closet. Whether you purchase it with matching pants or a skirt, or dress, it's a versatile piece that can be paired with just about any other item in your wardrobe and will instantly polish your outfit. When choosing a black blazer, look for interesting details, cuts, and fabrics. Invest in a more expensive blazer if you want to get more wear out of it, or go for cheaper options if you're looking for more trendy pieces.

A Light Grey Blazer

If you're going for a bit of a preppy work look, a  light grey blazer is the perfect option. Pair it with baby blue work shirts and polka dots for a polished prepster look, or stick to an all black wardrobe with a pop of grey for a more subdued minimal look.

The Crisp White Blazer

white blazer makes a big statement. It's a nice contrast for summer and spring weather and pairs well with navy or black pants or skirts if you want to look sophisticated, or patterned dresses or skirts if you want to have a little more fun with your outfit. Find a blazer with a patterned or coloured lining so when you roll your cuffs you can reveal a little touch of fun.

The Pastel Blazer

Similar to a white blazer, a  pastel blazer will give you a pretty option for spring and summer business meetings. Pick a colour that works with your skin tone, but don't be afraid to try on different colours. Almost any pastel can be worn in a sophisticated way with the right pair of pants or skirts. Think baby blue blazer, with a crisp white button down and dark denim for a fun, preppy, business casual outfit. Or think pastel pink with a dark dress pant and polka dot shirt and black pumps for a polished, yet pretty office look.

A Striped or Patterned Blazer

When you get a little sick of your everyday work wardrobe, try mixing it up by incorporating a new pattern, like a  black and white striped blazer or a patterned or checked blazer. Wear it sparingly for when you really want to make a statement.
