My New YouTube Gaming Channel Launched on 2nd October 2016.
Hello fellow gamers and I have just started a Brand New Gaming Channel on YouTube on the 2nd October 2016 if any of you are interested.
If you are as passionate about games as me then it will be worth your time to have a look.
Here is a link to it:
I have been a gamer since the 1970's and do sell my PS2 memory cards full of my game saves here on eBay, but I have decided to move with the times and start doing YouTube gaming videos too.
I have the same id: 'Starfish_central' as my eBay id so I should be fairly easy to find either by the link I have provided or by searching for me via my channel name once your are on YouTube.
I am doing PS4 Fallout 4 videos and Need For Speed Rivals videos at the moment but will be doing other games such as Borderlands the Handsome Collection and Project Cars Game of the Year Edition to name just a few in the future.
By all means check them out and comments on my channel are very welcome as long as they are kept clean (and no swearing please as young kids do view YouTube gaming channels).
This is all I ask from you and if you 'like' my videos and if you 'subscribe' then that is a bonus.
It is a channel for my hobby and not a source of income, but this may change in future.
Sadly the downsides are that I do not have a microphone and I did buy a Usb Condenser Microphone (off eBay) but my PS4 doesn't recognise that one is connected, so unfortunately there will be no voice over commentaries at the moment, (unless one is donated to me as I can't afford to pay for another one).
I use the free SHAREFactory Software which means that I don't have to pay for an expensive game capture device.
I saw a YouTube Tutorial video by Zombie Headz on how to use the Share Factory software and although a little tricky to use at first it has now become much easier to edit videos and to put in special effects.
His Share Factory Tutorial is titled: 'PS4 Share Factory - how to edit video like a pro & upload to YouTube'.
A link to his video is here:
Please mention that it was me 'Starfish_central' that directed you to his video.
He has helped me out so it is only fair for me to help him out too.
With this software videos are limited to an hour in total which is probably just as well as it takes nine hours to upload an hour long YouTube video! Plus and hour of editing and an hour to render.
I have been playing Fallout 4 almost constantly since my girlfriend bought me a PS4 for Xmas 2015.
So far I have played over 1300 hours of gameplay and reached level 250 and have still not finished the main story yet! This is just the standard 'vanilla' game too with no dlc.
Yes the game is Glitchy in places, but if you can look through these minor issues then it really is a cracking game to play.
I have been spending too much time on settlement building, collecting Power Armour Frames and Power Armour Pieces.
My very first video is of my collection of 125 Fully Upgraded Power Armours at my player home 'Sanctuary'.
I have collected all of the Power Armours that are scattered around the Commonwealth plus every single Bobblehead, but haven't got all of the magazines yet.
This will of course increase once I have the dlc as there are some different colour T-51 Power Armours (Sugar Bombs, Vim, Nuka Cola etc) plus the new X0-1 Quantum Power Armour to collect.
I am waiting for the Game of the Year version of Fallout 4 with all of the dlc on the disc although I will have to sell my game first in order to buy it!
Hopefully by then most of the Glitches and Bugs will have been sorted out, although I still can't choose Preston as a companion and sadly didn't manage to get his perk before he glitched on me!
Loads of people are having problems with Companions and also with some Level 4 Vendors.
Thankfully I didn't have too much of a problem assigning the Level 4 Weapons Vendor 'Smiling Larry' and assigned him at night.
He has so many weapons for sale that you won't believe how many he has the first time that you check!
Enough about me going on about the game and my channel and go and check it out for yourself.
I do try and respond to all comments that are left on my videos.
I hope that you have found this guide useful and please don't forget to vote as it is free to do so and only takes a moment.
The more votes I receive the more inclined I am to spend my valuable free time writing more eBay Guides and Reviews for you.
If you have less than 5 feedback unfortunately you won't be able to vote (Sorry eBay rules and not mine!)
** UPDATE JAN 2017 **
I now have a gaming headset (Sades SA-810 bought for £20) and I have started adding audio commentaries to my YouTube gaming videos.
The exciting news is that I now have a channel sponsor after just over 100 subscribers and a Patreon account.
My Patreon account will mean that money pledged will be used to invest in my YouTube gaming channel.
My first goal of $100 is to buy a newly released PS4 game and do a video series on this rather than videos of games that I receive at christmas and on my birthdays.
I will be able to, in time upgrade my broadband to the super fast fibre which will enable me to do live streaming.
Other details of what the money pledged will do to improve my gaming channel is in my Patreon account description.
I had 11 patrons and $60+ in monthly pledges within the first 9 hours of launching my account which is amazing!
If you have a couple of pounds or a few dollars a month to spare then I would be very grateful if you would help me to improve my channel by pledging a small amount.
A link to my Patreon can be found on all of my most recent YouTube videos after my Patreon Announcement video.
My YouTube gaming channel will soon be hosting "Giveaways" too but you will need to have been subscribed to my channel for a minimum of one month to take part.
All of the details and rules are on my Sponsor Announcement Video.
The "Giveaways" will be paid for by my channel sponsor and are free to enter.
Become a "Starfish" and subscribe today!
