My V5C 'Registration Certificate' (known as the log book) says at the bottom of the first page that the current registration mark on my vehicle is 'non-transferable', am I allowed to transfer a cherished/personalised registration mark onto my vehicle?
Yes you can, it presents no problem.
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot transfer or apply to retain a non-transferable registration mark, the existing vehicle can receive a new registration mark providing the non-transferable registration mark is not a 'Q' prefix (example: Q123 ABC) and providing the vehicle meets the normal conditions of the DVLA transfer and retention scheme, ie: it has current road tax etc.
