IM ALSO NEW TO E BAY AND JUST STARTED TO GET THE HANG OF IT, OR SO I THOUGHT.I WAS SELLING A USED LAPTOP AND PUT THE STARTING BID FOR £100.I GOT A E MAIL THE NEXT MORNING OFF SUM1 THAT SEEMED VERY GENUINE AND SAID THEY WANTED 2 BUY  THE LAPTOP 4 THEIR DAUGHTER AND OFFERD ME £158 AS A QUICK SALE AND THEY SAID THEY WAS UN LUCKY BIDDERS ON E BAY SO I THOUGHT YEH WHY NOT.IT WASNT UNTILL LATER ON HE SENT ME THE SHIPPING ADDRESS AND IT WAS TO NIGERIA!I WASNT SURE HOW MUCH IT WUD COST TO SEND TO THEASE PLACES SO I MADE SUM ENQUIRIES TO PARCELFORCE AND THE FRAUDSTER SAID HE WUD B HAPPY TO PAY POSTAGE WHICH WAS £95,SO WITH THE POSTAGE BEING THIS MUCH I THOUGHT I WILL LET HIM AV THE LAPTOP FOR A £100.THIS PERSON ASKED ME TO SEND A MONEY REQUEST USING PAYPAL WHICH I DID THEN HE SENT ME FAKE PAYPAL E MAILS BACK SAYING HE"D PAYED ETC N THAT THEY NEEDED THE SHIPPING NUMBER 4 MY PAYMENT TO BE COMPLETE,AS A NEW E BAYER I JUST THOUGHT THIS WAS WHAT THEY DID ON PAYPAL BUT ITS NOT.IVE GOT INTOUCH WITH PAYPAL 2DAY AND THEY SAID NEVER SEND GOODS UNTIL THE MONEY IS IN YOUR PAY PAL ACCOUNT!THE FRAUDSTERS TARGETED US BECAUSE THEY CUD SEE WE WAS NEW TO E BAY.ITS CERTAINLY OPENED MY EYES AND WILL BE MORE ALERT TO IT IN FUTURE.
