P+P Costs on EBay!

A quick review - since EBay reviewed how they do feedback, it is good to see that sellers are now 'scored' on their P+P costs. Prior to this review, there were some extortionate costs for this (and there still are some!) so BEWARE before you bid - check the P+P costs! I apply approx 60p - £1.00 for packing generally plus straight postage - I will reduce the P+P costs where I re-use packaging. BUT there are still many sellers who charge ridiculous amounts for P+P - today, I was just about to bid on a skirt for my daughter - until I noted the P+P costs were £7.00 for 'sellers standard rate' - were they posting in silk??! The cost should have been around £2.50 including P+P, but there are HIDDEN CHARGES. Basically - CHECK BEFORE BIDDING. No one likes paying ANY postage, but if it's a reasonable amount, then it's all part and parcel (excuse the pun!) of shopping online.
