After reading the article about a fellow member loosing nearly £100 because a Paypal transaction was reversed to a non-verified address, we too have had problems with an item payment being reversed, not to such a great value but nevertheless very annoying.
The buyer was in the USA and bought a table cloth from us to be sent by surface mail (expected delivery up to 3 months), we sent the parcel as soon as the payment was received and after about a fortnight the buyer reported the item as not being sent. To cut a long story short Paypal gave us a chance to reply, which we did, and then completely ignored the fact that a longer period of time should be given for overseas buyers and they refunded the whole money to the buyer from our account and, like the other member, with no explaination.
I am almost certain that the buyer would have received the item within the given time and that they have now received it free of charge. Not very fair I feel. Anyone else had problems like this?
