I DO NOT THINK THAT FEEDBACKS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO BE KEPT PRIVATE  BY EBAY AS THIS IS ONE WAY IN WHICH WE CAN PROTECT OURSELVES AGAINST THE FRAUDELENT THIEVES THAT HAVE INFILTRATED THE EBAY SYSTEM I HAVE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF THIS BEING A 100% HONEST EBAYER MY SELF I HAVE STUPIDLY TRUSTED A SELLER WHEN THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE PAYPAL AND COULD I PAY DIRECTLY INTO THEIR ACCOUNT OR PERSONAL CHEQUE NOT AN UNUSUAL REQUEST I PAID DIRECT SO AS TO MAKE THE TRANSACTION FASTER . HOWEVR NO ITEM RECIEVED AND NO COMMUNICATION AND NOW ON VIEWING THEIR PROFILE I FIND THAT SINCE MY PURCHASE THEIR FEEDBACK HAS DROPPED TO 62% BUT THE FEEDBACK AS TO WHY ITS SO LOW IS PRIVATE MY BETS WOULD BE ALL THE FEEDBACKS ARE FOR ITEMS NOT RECIEVED AND SHOULD I HAVE HAD ACCESS TO THAT INFORMATION I WOULD OF AVOIDED THIS PERSON LIKE THE PLAGUE I CANNOT NAME THIS THEIVING BEGGAR AS I DONT WANT TO GET INTO TROUBLE WITH EBAY BUT IF ANY OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO TO AVOID HERE PLEASE MESSAGE ME AND I HOPE I CAN SAVE YOU FROM THE SAME MISTAKE AS EBAY DONT SEEM TO BE PROTECTING US HONEST EBAYERS AS WELL AS THEY COULD DO
