Having had 5 years selling experience on Ebay it seems to us that one of the major difficulties & frustrations experienced by both Buyers & Sellers is the matching of payments to items won/bought in our Ebay Shop.
As fairly major listers on Ebay it is not uncommon for us to have in excess of 200 items awaiting payment at any one time.
It is at present ONLY possible to search through that Sold Items list by: Buyer email address, Buyer Ebay ID, Item title or Number or Sale Record Number.
No other searches are at present an option & bearing in mind that EVERY WEEK we receive over 15 payments without any of the above details we are often left in a position were we have to bank payment & rely on the buyer contacting us with a 'wheres my item' email.
This is extremely frustrating for you as our customer & extremely frustrating for us as we pride ourselves on our customer service.
In common with most other multi list sellers we ask that when forwarding payments to us you include your purchase details on a seperate sheet - those who 'pick' your items are not always near a PC nor are they always the ones who pack your items, the key we feel is the more information you provide the quicker & more efficient a service we can provide.
