I sold a Burberry dog collar to an american in California on ebay for £75 - I bought it new originally for £120 and it was unused so a pretty good deal. I paid the postage with Paypal postage and got a proof of postage certificate at my post office. Three weeks later it still hadn't arrived so the buyer took out a claim. I provided the proof of postage but Paypal refunded the buyer (who is most likely sitting with the item AND my £75). How unfair is that?? Paypal arbitration is extremely unfair and makes me feel very vulnerable as a seller.
Paypal does not protect sellers
