Phil & Ted's Sport double pushchair

I owned one of these for almost 3 years and during that time it went everywhere with us! When I started driving however, I found that it swallowed up my boot space and was a pain in the rear to fold! There is a new explorer version which looks to have improved features and folding mechanisms from the sport. In short and through everyday heavy use we found the pro's are ;

Goes anywhere with large tyres/excellent manoverability and easy steer 3 wheel design

Adjustable handle hieght with several positions

Versatility of the product, longevity because of it and value

The innovative and uniqueness (at the time we were the only parents in our area that had one)

The vibrant colours and the quality feel of the product

User friendly for both parent and child/children

How well it met our needs as parents of 2+ children (especially before I started driving)

it is an excellent buggy and has been copied in it's current style and form by various other pushchair manufacturers. I would always advise to get a Phil and Ted's because of the quality and versitality of them, even second hand. Many copy cat style pushchairs may not exhibit the same durability as the Phil and Ted's so buying cheap would be a false economy. That's the good side, however there are a few points to note should you be considering buying one;

Takes alot of boot space away once folded

Fidgety hood, can sometimes be troublesome, especially when folded

Folding mechanism can be fidgety

No carry handle which can be a bit irritating when it's needed

The break is very stiff and I found it difficult to use at times

and also bear in mind that the tyres might get punctured! We had to replace one of our inner tubings which was a pest! However, the overall durability, quality design and style of the Phil and Ted's make it an excellent purchase and an essential for a growing family
