Also in 1998 there were another set of Japanese Yugioh Cards released , but by AMADA .

These were Anime Cards and designed for Collecting as opposed to Duelling , with the sets consisting of  54 cards , consisting of 44 Non Foil cards ( including 2 x 4 pce Picture Sets #37-40 and #41-44) , and 10 Foil cards #45 -  54) - there are some superb cards amongs these , but they have a very different look to the Duelling Cards , and are more like Stills from the Cartoon Series..!!

***************************************************************************

Following the Success of the original Japanese Bandai Series , a 2nd Set of "Sticker Cards" were released , But there were only 42 cards in the set ( 36 non Foil and 6 Foil cards) , + 1 Promo  ... I have included these as they were Full Size  and although much of the Artwork is similar to the Original Bandai Series of Cards , there were Additions  , and they look much "Sharper" all having a Glossy Finish and many having better Artwork. The back of each card is the checklist for the set with the number of the card Pre-Filled.Only the Promo itself shows its "00" number as the 1st card in the list (ie. 1st card in the set - See Pic Below)

Another reason for including this set is that it contains a card that has been argued over as to whether it exists or not in Genuine Form. "Exodia as One Card" (often referred to as "Dark Master"). This is the card that was copied  into  English and endlessly flooded ebay at one point. The Artwork was moved to a Normal Looking "Konami Style" card  , BUT has Never been released by Konami OR Upper Deck in English or Japanese  - The only Genuine one is the 1999 Bandai Version .

Bandai Series 2 :-

  •  36 x Common (Sticker) Cards
  • Foil - #01 - Blue Eyes White Dragon
  • Foil - #12 - Exodia as One
  • Foil - #30 - Meteor B. Dragon
  • Foil - #25 - Red Eyes Black Dragon
  • Foil - #41 - Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon
  • Foil - #42 - Three Dragon Battle
  • Promo #00 - Summoned Skull,Dark Magician , Gaia - Non Foil

Bandai Series 2 - #12 Exodia As One - FOIL

 Bandai Series 2 - CINEMA PROMO #00

There are many other early Japanese Yugioh items I have avoided Covering , (Non TCG/CCG Card Size) Small Stickers , Postcards , Lenticular Cards etc etc.....As I would prefer to start on the Japanese Konami Cards .

I hope this has provided some help though as many people collect the Bandai Series 1 cards (1998/99)

Many Thanks for reading this.
