T-shirts are inexpensive style statements
Today, tees are more popular than ever, and you’d think by now that everybody would know how to buy a t-shirt. Well, unfortunately, this isn’t so, and, it’s really a shame, because we use t-shirts to create our identity and express our personality – so imagine what a low quality t-shirt says about you!
Of course, you might think that quality t-shirts are quite expensive. You’d be surprised to find out that you can get really good t-shirts at a bargain price – this is you know what to look for and where to look, of course.
So, how to buy quality t-shirts? Well, let’s have a closer look at it!

What should you consider before buying a t-shirt?
It’s easy to simply see a nice tee in the shop or on the internet and say “I want it”. But, after you decided that you want it and before you buy it, there are a few things that you should consider like the materials used, its quality and its price.  Let’s talk about all these!
The material is extremely important. You would think that high quality t-shirts are made from cotton. Well, then you’d be wrong. While it’s true that cotton can absorb perspiration quite nicely and it leave the skin breathe at the same time, 100% cotton t-shirts have two problems: they shrink after wash and they lose their shape. That’s why, even if you want to make sure that your t-shirt is at least 80% cotton, you might still want to find some polyester or another type of fiber that will hold it together over the years and it will prevent it from shrinking.
At the same time, you shouldn’t go for 100% polyester shirts unless they’re specially designed for sports use. The ones that are designed with this purpose in mind have a few properties that don’t really attract usual buyers, and, let’s face it, their design isn’t something that works with every occasion. Usually, if you want to buy 100% polyester shirts that are designed to be casual, then you’re going to be wasting your money, because even if these shirts will look great, they won’t let your skin breathe properly, which will cause you to sweat a lot, and stink – the combination of chemicals released through sweat with polyester always creates a very bad and unpleasant smell.
How do you check the quality of a t-shirt? Firstly, you’re looking at the materials used, and, if possible, you touch the t-shirt. Good t-shirts should always have a very soft and delicate texture, no matter of their thickness. If you’re unable to touch the tee like when you’re buying online, check to see if there are any reviews or customer reviews for that shirt or other similar shirts produced by the same company. This is always a strong indicator of the quality in the electronic environment.
Lastly, let’s talk price! Price is something quite debatable, as it all depends on your budget and on your taste. Naturally, you should expect to pay more for a D&G shirt than for a DKNY or no-name shirt. But, funny enough, the quality won’t differ all that much! So, don’t get fooled by the brand: always go for what you like, and what suits your style! Try out our Romeo and Revenge T-shirts. We boast quality and 100% cotton on all our products.
