I had a unfortunate experience on ebay MY 1ST damaged item via post......

My customer contacted me,I said post it back and will claim ROYAL MAIL FOR IT...which I did.Weeks later they sent me a cheque after multiple phone calls and letters for the price of the item!

They never included the original postage costs for the service that was not provided and cost me another postage to customer.

SO THAT 1XORIGINAL POSTAGE COSTS...

3XPHONE CALLS

1X POSTAGE TO ROYAL MAIL

1X FREE POSTAGE RETURN TO ROYALMAIL

A FEW JOURNEYS TO THE POST OFFICE

THEN THE COST OF SENDING ANOTHER ITEM OUT .Another journey to the post office,Another phone call to them

WHY HAVE THEY NOT REFUNDED THE ORIGINAL POSTING COSTS SINCE THE ITEM WAS DAMAGED AND KNEW I WOULD HAVE TO REFUND OR REPLACE TO CUSTOMER??????????????

NOW THEY WANT ME TO SEND 2ND PROOF OF SENDING OFF TO CLAIM (MAYBE) GET MONEY BACK FOR 1ST POSTAGE !!! MIND THE SERVICE THEY DID NOT PROVIDE..

SO THAT WAS ANOTHER PHONECALL AND NOW ANOTHER ENVELOPE AND JOURNEY TO THE POST OFFICE.......

FOR WHAT £2/2.50 ISH THAT THEY DID NOT INCLUDE IN  THE PAYMENT THEY SENT!!!!!!!

SO ALL YE FELLOW EBAYER SENDING ITEMS OF VALUE VIA ROYALMAIL WITH ALL THE INSURANCES ETC SIGNED FOR ......

IF YOUR ITEM IS OF VALUE AND COSTS SAY £20-30

AND GETS LOST OR  DAMAGED ON WAY TO CUSTOMER............................

                 YOU HAVE TO REFUND CUSTOMER

AND LOOSE YOUR £20-30 WHICH IT COST TO COVER YOURSELVES IN POSTAGE COSTS....FOR THAT SERVICE THAT WAS NOT 100%

WHAT A SCAM.....
