If you are like me and occasionally sell something you simply do not want, a word of advice. I recently sold an item and subsequently posted it first class by Royal Mail. 2 weeks later and the buyer said there was still no sign of it. The buyer appeared to have genuinely not received the item, but how do I now that for a fact, this is the 3rd time this has happened to me, and I have had to send a full refund based on a buyers word. Don't get me wrong, I am not accusing anyone, but, Royal Mail losing 3 items in as many months, well.............. I would advise any private seller to send their items registered or recorded so that a signature is obtained for delivery, you can track the item and if it is lost, then you have proof that you posted it and claim against Royal Mail. My sixpenorth.
