Recorded Delivery

I now send all of my items recorded delivery due to the amount of buyers claiming non-delivery. I was surprised to notice that proof of posting is no use as buyers can still claim their money back through paypal, even if you provide the proof of posting.

Apparantly it doesn't cover you must have a tracking number. So what is the point of even having proof of posting when it doesn't cover you and you lose the item and posting charges as well as ebay charges for advertising and final costs. Very unfair I thought so have no choice but to send everything now recorded delivery.

Recorded delivery cost from 72p depending on size and weight of item. Compensation up to the value of £36.00 can also be sought if a parcel goes missing so extra piece of mind. Recorded delivery has a first and second class option which I include in my listings. The Royal Mail website can be used to get exact postage cost and to print of postage labels.
