Buying LP's on eBay

After being a long time buyer of records, and buying countless of them for myself and my partner, my first piece of advice is... BE CAREFUL. Oh, how easy it is to be conned by people on eBay, and having no way of returning your completely warped and scratched record that you have just spent £50 p&p on. I know, as it has happened to me on countless occasions.

Always read the description 100,000 times before purchasing a record from another eBayer (unless they are a reliable record store that sell on this website), because it is so easy to miss something. You need a record in perfect, playable condition but sometimes this isn't the case. Adding to my collection of over 100 records, I always ensure that the seller has a 95% or above feedback rating, their photos show the record as well as the sleeve, and that there is a clear description. Without these, god knows what will be sent to you. I have had some records that are completely unplayable due to the amount of scratches on them. How could anybody let their record get in such bad condition? Follow these rules and you should be fine!
