CHECKS BEFORE REPLACING 1.5 K9K ENGINE INJECTORS.

PRIOR TO GOING TO THE EXPENSE OF REPLACING FAILED INJECTORS ALWAYS CHECK THE FUEL FILTER FOR SIGNS OF COPPER DEBRIS, THIS WOULD INDICATE THAT THE CAUSE OF FAILURE OF YOUR INJECTOR IS THE FUEL PUMP COPPER INTERNALS STARTING TO BREAK DOWN AND CLOG THE INJECTOR, IF THIS IS THE CASE REPLACING A FAULTY INJECTOR WITHOUT REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP WILL ONLY RESULT IN FURTHER COSTS AND DAMAGE TO THE REPLACEMENT INJECTOR. THIS IS A COMMON FAULT AND A SIMPLE CHECK OF FUEL FILTER MAY SAVE YOU IN THE LONG TERM. DON'T FORGET THAT WHEN CHANGING THE FUEL PUMP TO FIT A NEW CAM BELT AT THE SAME TIME, WE WOULD ALSO SUGGEST ALWAYS FITTING A NEW ALTERNATOR BELT AND PULLEY AT THE SAME TIME AS AGAIN THEY ARE QUITE A COMMON FAILURE ITEM AND WHEN THE PULLEY SEIZES IT SNAPS THE BELT WHICH GENERALLY ENDS UP JAMMING THE CAMBELT AND CAUSES MAJOR COSTS TO GET THE VEHICLE BACK ON THE ROAD. WE STOCK MOST OF THE FUEL PUMPS AND INJECTORS BY RENAULT PART NUMBER AND ALL OF OUR PARTS ARE SUPPLIED WITH A THIRTY DAY PART WARRANTY FOR PEACE OF MIND. WE HAVE OVER TWENTY FIVE YEARS OF RENAULT AFTER SALES EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE. THANKS AMRL 2013.
