Due to the increased interest in retro furniture it is important that buyers are aware of the dangers from some of the fillings such as foam and similar materials to be found in upholstered furniture made between 1950 and 1988. If you are buying from a business seller be very careful and ask if the filling comply to the fire regulations of 1988. If they do not then, should there be a fire, you are putting your lives at risk from poisonous fumes!

Also business sellers know they are not allowed to sell, by law, any upholstered furniture made between 1950 and 1988, that does not comply.
So beware because that retro - kitch bedroom stool or lounge chair etc could kill

Be careful and buy safely, all dealers in second furniture know that they should not be selling that type of furniture but they have found a loophole in internet sales becuase nobody checks.
