Finding the right tile cutter for your job can sometime's feel complicated, with so many models to choose from depending on your tiling requirements. Here we present a comparison between two of our best selling Rubi tile cutter models, the TS60 Plus and the TX700-N.
Rubi TS60 Plus Cutter
The Rubi TS60 Plus Tile Cutter includes a sturdy Kit Box for transportation and storage and will cut tiles made from ceramic, stoneware, granite, or marble due to their immense breaking strength (750 kg / 1,654 lb.) with the maximum tile thickness of 5/8" (15mm). The chromed and rectified steel guides have been treated with anti-corrosion which makes them extremely accurate and long lasting. The Rubi TS60 plus tile cutter is supplied with both 6mm and 10mm scoring wheels that are made from hard tungsten carbide for excellent durability. Direct vision of the scoring and cutting line means that you always have a good view of the tile as it is being cut and scored and the fixed breaking point has a ruled edge and lateral stop to aid in repeated straight and 45 degree cutting. The handle design makes the Rubi TS60 plus tile cutter comfortable and easy to use and the reinforced metal base will stand up to the forces created during scoring and cutting.

Rubi TX700-N Tile Cutter
The Rubi TX700-N Tile Cutter includes a sturdy Kit Box for transportation and storage. Suitable for cutting tiles made from clay, ceramic and porcelain, including those which are granulated or difficult-to-cut. The Rubi TX700-N tile cutter cuts tiles with a thickness between 1/4" and 13/16" (6-20mm). This durable tile cutter has a two-layer shock absorbing aluminium base that is strong yet lightweight and together with the fold out base accessory is long enough for cutting even the largest format tiles. A swivelling angle plate and angular measuring system allows for quick and easy cutting at angles between 0 and 45 degrees. Repetitive straight and 45 degree angles can also be made using the lateral stop.
Rubi's TX700-N has a reinforced moving breaking system that runs along two double rectified steel guides that have been given an anti-corrosion treatment for longer life. Interchangeable hard tungsten carbide 10mm and 18mm scoring wheels are included with the Rubi TX700-N tile cutter and will withstand the rigors of cutting. Direct vision of the scoring and cutting line ensures that you always have a direct vision of the tile as it is being cut.
