Safety Notice

We, along with the manufacturers and distributors of Dream Lites are tackling a potentially dangerous problem with counterfeit electrical toys on ebay and other 3rd party selling sites. We cannot stress enough that parents should be very wary buying these products. They are electrical items for a childs bedroom. So, safety is absolutely paramount.

It is taking time for these web sites to remove the listing and they are reappearing just as quickly. In the mean time literally hundreds of these items are being sold to unsuspecting families.

Dream Lites are the childrens night light from Pillow Pets. They are a childrens night time friend that  transforms the bedroom ceiling into a starry night sky.  If a Dream Lite is on your child’s Christmas list, just be aware of the counterfeit and unapproved Dream Lites that are flooding the market.

These product are copies selling on the back of the Dream Lites brand and are unlikely to be tested and conform to the same safety standards as the genuine Dream Lites by Pillow Pets. Please be aware of this as we approach the festive season, so you can be fully informed about what you are buying.

These Dream Lites copies, look very similar as an official Dream LItes but can be identified by:

  • The absence of the Dream Lites by Pillow Pets logo on the box and stitched into the foot of the Dream Lite

  • A lower retail price (Dream lites retail around £19.99 - if it looks too cheap, it is probably a fake)

  • The feel of the toy is of poor quality

  • A Turtle toy in the range (there is no Turtle in the genuine Dream Lite UK range)

Mookie Toys, who are the UK distributors of Dream Lites are in the process of preventing people selling products under the registered name of Dream Lites, but this just unfortunately takes time.

If you are looking to buy your child a Dream Lite just please be aware of the fake copies and make your choice accordingly.
