Selling a guitar on e-bay?
These are just a few tips to ensure you get the most out of your listing.
1. P and P.
This is quite importantl. Items listed with "Collection only" will (normally) always do less well than those with a P and P option.
2. How to Post?
Two ways really - call in to your local guitar shop (if you have one, of course). Their guitars are usually delivered in specific cardboard boxes that are designed to (usually) protect the guitar in transit. The shops are usually helpful in either selling these, or in some instances, will give them away for free.
Secondly, have a look at the back of the guitar. If there are 4 screws at the base of the neck, these can be undone and the body and neck will separate. This makes for an easier packing job. (Make sure you take the strings off first if using this method)
Do a "Completed Listings" search for the same name and model you are selling. You will get a good idea of the price range for your particular guitar. Why list something that sells (for example) between £25 and £42 for £90? Its just not gonna sell!
