I sold an item on Ebay.

Got notification of payment from Pay Pal

I sent the item to the address shown on the Pay Pal payment advice

Sent the item "International Signed For" Royal Mail Post to France

Buyer claimed item not received

Pay Pal took my money

I provided Pay Pal with a copy of the Royal Mail tracking number on about 20 occassions and they keep sending me emails saying :

"we have reviewed your account and would like to advise you that the case was found in the buyers favour because you provided invalid tracking information.  I understand your frustration regarding this matter and regret any inconvenience it might have caused you."

I am sure Pay Pal spends hours practicing on being this incompetant, but I did everything that was required of me as a seller and got shafted by Pay Pal.

I think their seller protection positively stinks.
