After much thought I recently tried to cancel my Sky HD subscription due to the fact that in Sky's Terms and condition's there are a sequence of answers and question's one of which says "Will all channels be broadcast in High Definition" and the answer is " All Movies featured on the Sky HD Movie channels are broadcast solely in High Definition" This is actually very much untrue. I checked 7 days of broadcasting on Sky's HD Movie channels and out of 32 Movies shown in those 7 days only 4 could possibley have been broadcast in true HD! If a movie is not actually filmed and recorded using HD equipement then it is impossible to broadcast it in HD. Therefore we are paying for Upscaling not HD so are they not guilty of misdecription under the sales of goods and services act. Fortunatley it took a while and much argument but I was given compensation for the misrepresentation that I was put under. To be honest, I would much rather they just got it right, they have a monopoly and use it by ripping people off, untill people shout and shout loud this company in particuler will continue to sell us shoddy services and misleading information. We pay for Sky HD and recieve only one or two true HD channels instead of all the SKY HD Movie box office channels and SKY HD Movie channels being mere upscaled movie.
SKY SHAME ON YOU< BOUT TIME YOU PAID A BIT BACK TO ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS.
