Star Wars Lego Minifigs often sell for a lot ... some of them such as Darth Maul and General Grievous can sell for particluarly high prices. But why ?
One answer is that they are "collectable" in their own right ... and many collectors don't want the hassle of storing full Lego Sets but are happy to simply collect the mini-figs. Another answer is down to the success of the Lego Star Wars Video games ... the characters are simply becoming very popular with fans !!! It is important to point out that that many Lego Mini-Figs sell more much higher prices than the actual cost of the complete set they come with.
So three top tips for savng some money ...
1) Don't ever buy a Lego Mini-Fig by itself when you could actually buy the entire set for less.
2) Beware of Mini-Figs that are customs. Make sure you know the figures you wish to collect by checking reliable visual sources like the Official Lego Website. There are many customs out there but these are not official Lego Mini-Figs and have been created with the Mini-Fig collectors in mind !
3) Look out for bulk lots of Star Wars Lego and incomplete sets as these will often come with a number of Lego Mini-Figs that will help you to build up a collection quickly and more cost effectively.
