During the year Strathclyde Police holds public auctions to sell the unclaimed items that are handed-in to the Force's Lost Property office.

The auctions are an opportunity for any member of the public to pick-up items such as jewellery, cameras, cycles, garden equipment, clothing and electrical goods - with all items going to the highest bidder and no reserve prices set.

Over the years the auctions have proved extremely popular, with people travelling from as far afield as Cumbria and Ireland.

By taking part, you can help to improve policing in the Strathclyde Police Force area, as all the cash that is raised is used to fund initiatives that help to make our Force area safer from crime.
