This is the complete guide on how to make your item sell on E-bay:

I will tell you the 6 point rule, that no one else knows, to getting in your punters and reeling them in, to get you a good smart sale.

So yeah, i am in advertising so this is easy for me, you would probaly say, but if you follow the 6 point rule you wont go wrong, it should help with sales, although no guarentee is given.

Okay to start, brief out line etc on whats going on here:

1st of all think really clearly about what you are selling, and what would attract you to buy.

Also think about what picture you have, remember a picture says 1000 things,  but words sell.

make sure its a good clear picture too, a messy picture will put buyers off your item, most buyers tend to look at picture first of all.

 

OKAY THE 6 POINT RULE TO SELLING AND MAKING YOUR ADVERT WORK:

 

1) HEADING  ----------A GOOD HEADING MAKES THE BUYER INTERESTED

2) SUB HEADLINE --------A GOOD SUB HEADLINE KEEPS THEM READING AND SEEING WHATS ON OFER TO THEM

OKAY SO NOW YOU HAVE THEIR ATTENTION, THE NEXT BIT IS TO KEEP THEM THERE, READING IT!

SO:

3) THE BODY --------- HOW ARE YOU GOING TO LAY OUT YOUR ADVERT USING EBAY, WELL, USE MY STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO HELP YOU, THINK OF A GOOD HEADLINE, THEN SUB HEADLINE, THEN WHATS THE BODY OF THE ADVERT ABOUT, PICTURES, WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOUR ADVERT THE BEST.

4) ILLUSTRATION ------------ THE ACTUAL ITEM, MEANING FULL, REALISTIC, ACTUAL WORDS THAT DESCRIBES YOUR ITEM BEST OF ALL, THING IS, YOU WANT GOOD WORDS AS PICTURES SAY MANY THINGS BUT, WORDS SELL IT!!

5) THE CATCHLINE OR ACTION LINE ----------- WHAT IS THE BEST THING TO ATTRACT YOUR BUYERS TO YOUR ITEM, WELL PAYMENT DETAILS, EASY CHECKOUT FACILITIES, POSTAGE AND PACKAGING CHARGES, ALL THESE THINGS TO THINK ABOUT REALLY, YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR ADVERT, AND AT THE END OF THE DAY, YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE THE ADVERT STAND OUT TO THE PEOPLE YOU WANT IT TO REACH, WHEN, WHERE AND HOW!!

6) CONTACT DETAILS --------- MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR CONTACT DETAILS ON EBAYS PAGE, MAKE SURE THE RETURN POLICY, CHECKOUT, CONTACT DETAILS, ETC, ARE ALL FILLED OUT SO PEOPLE CAN CONTACT EASILY.

 

REMEMBER ALSO, THAT JARGON, OR ABSOLUTE RUBBISH,  WILL PUT SOME BUYERS OFF, AS THEY DONT CARE IF YOU HAVE HAD IT ON THE ROOF FOR TEN YEARS AND A LITLE BIRD SAT ON IT ETC, THEY WANT TO KNOW WHAT CONDITION AND HOW OLD ETC!!
