Winter Warmers

So, the weather has changed and although I am not a huge fan of the colder weather it’s the perfect time of year for layering up in the comfy lagenlook style of dressing.

Base layers, long maxi skirts, cardigans and jumpers are just ideal. I love to wear nice thick tights and boots topped off with a scarf. Add some jewellery and other accessories, who says it’s cold outside?

This season at ladieslagenlook  we welcome the colder months by introducing some heavier cotton garments together with woollen jackets and cardigans. The popular long tunic dresses and tops will remain but we will be using our 100% Italian Quality Natural Cotton and showing you how to use layering to create a nice comfy set of clothes for everyday wear. Cotton is a great material, it’s natural and gives the skin room to breath making it a comfortable fabric for any season. We use stretch jersey cotton a lot which gives a slight stretch to the garment.

Warm colours are commonly seen within the world of lagenlook. Earthy Rustic Browns, Beiges and Khaki Green. Basic Black, Navy and White are good staples for any wardrobe. My favourite colour at the moment is Red Wine. Purple is a popular choice and again great for mixing a matching and it looks great with other shades or Purple as well as Dusty Pink.

The loose style of lagenlook is often found in plus size ranges. It’s complimentary to the fuller figure and comfortable to wear.
