I am writing this as a warning to others. I recently made several purchases from a seller who said she had sent my items Global Priority from the USA and provided a tracking number. In 2 weeks of trying to track the package no informatioh was available. Seller said the parcel probably didnt scan! Could we all claim this?! With regards the non-receipt of items process with eBay - usually once a seller provides a tracking number a buyer could very well lose the case and his or her cash. It is my view that if the tracking number doesnt track then it wasnt sent at all! So much for the added security of having a tracking number for more valuable purchases..........
Be assured, eBay will investigate the dispute claim fully and take into account the fact the parcel tracking number provided by the seller didnt track, but this cant be guaranteed.
My advice? Purchase from sellers with 100% feedback? NOOOOOO! This seller had that accolade, and was a Power Seller! I would just say read the feedback comments, buy a cheap item from them first to see how quickly they ship etc. before spending a lot of money with them.
