Jaw Size for Cuticle Nippers

The first thing you should be careful with is the size of the nipper’s blade. It means how wide it should be. If its narrow and less wide it is better for corners and helps you to cut the extra skin smoothly.  So always go for Quarter Jaw Size, which is smallest blade size available.

Some people do like the wide blades; they are good to work with professionals. These called half jaw or full jaw, as it can take off quite a big part of skin quickly. So many professional manicurists prefer them.

The next part is the length of the nippers handle. It needs to be long enough to keep distance from the customer's finger. It can help you to perform the treatment efficiently.
The third and very important part is that how smooth your cuticle nippers run. If these are not smooth enough, it can cause injury.

In our YNR Instruments, Cuticle Nippers range you will find both designs. All of our manicure instruments are hand made with surgical stainless steel and they are sterilize-able.
There are other models available with some colour option in handle. Please remember that these models are only sterilize-able from the edges. You cannot sterilize them in full.
