Starting with the 2015 Kookaburra bullion coin which highlights  the 25th anniversary of the Australian Kookaburra, each coin in the silver series replicates the original artistry featured in its introductory year of 1990. The design itself is of an adult kookaburra sitting on a tree stump surrounded by eucalyptus leaves and a fern. The design also includes the inscription THE AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA, The Perth Mint’s special ‘P25’ mint mark, and the year-dates 1990 – 2015.

Year of the goat 1 oz

The 2015 Australian year of the Goat 1 ounce bullion coin

Featuring an Eastern theme, The Year of the Goat is the eighth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac.
In Chinese astrology the animal signs assigned by year represent what others perceive you as being or how you present yourself. It is a common misconception that the animals assigned by year are the only signs and many western descriptions of Chinese astrology draw solely on this system. In fact, there are also animal signs assigned by month (called inner animals), by day (called true animals) and hours (called secret animals).
The design itself depicts a family of goats standing amid a stylized rural scene. The design also depicts the Chinese character for ‘goat’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Goat’ with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

In Conclusion

In  my personal opinion The Perth mint in Australia produces the best made and best designed bullion coins on the market today and they are essential for any bullion coin collector, only the Canadians come close in variety and design.
