For those who don't know much about or have never owned Technics SL1200/1210 turntables - they first appeared in 1979 and their solid contruction has made them the most durable turntable on the planet, even to this day. As a result, this allowed DJs to become turntablists (DJs who manipulate sounds and create music using turntables and a DJ mixer) and because of this Technics SL1200/1210's are now being recognised as a musical instrument.

Although they look different the SL1200 & SL1210 turntable are identical apart from the colour, the SL1200's have a silver/grey look whereas the SL1210's are matt black.

Due to high quality components and design the sound reproduction is outstanding - minimising unwanted resonances, wow & flutter and speed errors. This was achieved by designing a remarkably heavy plinth made of a non-resonant composite sandwiched between a cast alloy top plate and a solid rubber base. In addition, the adjustable rubber damped feet ensure that the Technics SL1200/1210 are well insulated against acoustic feedback, which can be a serious problem when operating a turntable in close proximity to PA loudspeakers (a common situation for DJ's).

Why buy any other? DJs and vinyl enthusiasts will not be disappointed - 10/10 !!!
