Looking for the Extra Push? Follow these tips for added motivation!

·       Mix up your workout and eating routine to avoid devastating plateaus.
·       Muscle burns more calories even after you've finished working out, so include three 20-minute strength-training sessions each week. (Try incorporating  kettlebells too!)
·       Target your fat burning zone (you can find this by using a HRM watch or monitor) by adding sprinting intervals to your cardio.
·       Get a great stretch and flexibility while burning calories with faster-paced yoga like Vinyasa.
·       Unwind with some TV but also keep free weights or dumbbells by your sofa to get some reps in while relaxing.
·       Make weight loss pacts or set goals with friends or co-workers to not only keep you accountable but to create an instant support group.
·       Make workout happy hours with friends and coworkers instead of hitting up the bar to relax after work.
·       Keep a BPA free reusable water bottle with you at all time. Staying hydrated improves skin, brain function, keeps you feeling fuller and gives you more energy for your day.

·       Meal prep! Prepping your meals will give you the ease of grab and go healthy options and will also limit the need for fast food.
·       Make sure every meal has at least 10 grams of fibre. Fibre keeps you full and also helps your digestive health.
·       Follow the golden rule of 80/20 (eating clean 80 percent of the time and indulging in a treat meal once or twice a week) to keep your metabolism on its toes and to keep you from getting bored.
·       Being overtired can make you too exhausted to workout and can lead to overindulging in snacks and junk food. Avoid this by making sure you get at least seven hours of sleep every night.
