Choosing the right network

The first thing one should do when choosing a network provider is check the coverage in your area.   This can usually be done at the providers website.  Generally it is advisable to choose a major provider.
The next criteria should be deciding which provider gives you the best service tailored to your needs at the right cost.  This will depend what you use your device for the most i.e Calls, Texts or Internet Data.
Below are the top 3 "all round" network providers based upon our experience.

Giffgaff - WINNER

Giffgaff is one of the cheapest all round major providers. Using the O2 network  it has great coverage throughout the UK.  Awesome pay as you go rates, free calls and texts to other Giffgaff members.  You can use your credit to purchase goodybags (pictured below) for monthly packages of calls, texts etc.
Giffgaff is run by its own members, support is provided by an online community.  Possibly the only network that would recommend switching to a lower price plan if it would save the customer money!

EE - RUNNER UP

EE take a well deserved runner up place, this is a more expensive service but also claims to have the greatest coverage throughout the UK, so if you are struggling with you current provider it may be worth checking out their network coverage in your area. In our experience the coverage in rural areas was on par with other top providers if not better.   EE's 4G business plans are also well worth a look.
