Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes

Part video game, part high-tech action figure set, the Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Hero starter set comes with figures of Iron Man, Thor and Black Widow, which, when placed on the base provided, come alive in a virtual New York. There our Avengers can battle it out with frost giants or simply have fun in the game’s Toy Box mode, where players can create new worlds and populate them with supervillains and monsters, or even mix and match Marvel heroes with Disney and Pixar stars. Add-on packs provide more heroes and adventures, and the more you play, the more characters, buildings, vehicles and objects you unlock.
We love: Getting creative and building new adventures in the Toy Box mode.
Watch out for: Your wallet. You’ll want more heroes and villains, and they don’t come cheap.

With the Amazing Spider-Man 2 Spiral Web Shooter you can cover friend and foe with sticky webbing, fired out in spiral strands from the wrist-mounted shooter. Suitable for children over five years old, it includes a can of Spidey Shot web fluid, and with a refillable water cartridge it doubles up as a water pistol too. Additional cans of Spidey Shot can be purchased separately.
We love: Treating family and friends to a good blast of Spidey Shot.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes: X-Men vs The Sentinal

Lego makes some brilliant superhero construction sets, covering both the DC Comics Universe (Superman, Batman and Green Lantern) and Marvel’s superheroes (Spider-Man, The Avengers and X-Men). It’s hard to pick a favourite, but we can’t resist the X-Men vs The Sentinal set (76022), pitting Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm and Magneto against the giant, mutant-hunting robots of Days of Future Past. The included Blackbird jet has an opening cockpit and room for four figures, and Wolverine even comes with his signature Adamantium claws.
We love: Putting our own Marvel comics action scenes together.
Watch out for: The Instructions. Putting it all together is part of the fun.

Captain America Shield

Captain America Shield

If you see yourself as the next Steve Rogers, you’re going to need his most prized accessory. What would Captain America be without his shield? Well, if the trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron is anything to go by, we’ll be finding out very soon, but that’s not the point. Cap’s shield is one of the most recognisable Marvel artefacts and now you can have one just like it. This full size (24in) replica of Cap’s shield will look stunning hanging on your wall, and even better strapped to your arm (under the right circumstances, of course). Just remember that unlike the real one, it probably won’t withstand a blow from Thor’s hammer.
We  love: A beautiful replica of an iconic superhero item.
Watch out for: You’d need to be Howard Stark to afford it.
RRP: £579.99

Batman Utility Belt

No matter how tight the jam, the Caped Crusader always finds a way out, and more often than not that way out involves a gadget stowed in his utility belt. And if you want to ensure that you’re never caught short in a life or death situation, just like the Dark Knight, you need this replica utility belt. There’s space for untold gadgets and gizmos, and assuming you fill each pouch wisely, you’ll have every possible villainous scenario covered.
We love: Beautifully created utility belt with loads of pouch space.
Watch out for: You’ll need Morgan Freeman to make you the gadgets to go in it.

Iron Man 3: War Machine Figure

If you’re a real superhero fan you’ll want to collect some of the beautiful scale models that are available. We’re not talking action figures here, we’re talking painstakingly produced scale replicas of the characters in the movies and comics. The kind of stuff that the movie studious will use for 3D storyboards or dioramas. This 12in model of War Machine from the Iron Man 3 movie is a truly stunning example, and would make you the envy of all your superhero loving friends.
We love: The amazing attention to detail
Watch out for: If you get hooked, collecting these things could require a second mortgage.
