VW Audi Seat Skoda PR Numbers Explained

All Volkswagen group cars have a 'data sticker'. This sicker is essentially the DNA of the car. It is used at production to define everything unique about the car such as the paint colour and engine type.

The cars data sticker can be found on the inside cover of the original service book and it is also located on the car body, normally in the spare wheel well or under the rear seats.

The data sticker contains all the information about the car such as:

  • Chassis Number
  • Model Type
  • Engine Code
  • Engine Number
  • Gearbox Code
  • Gearbox Number
  • Paint Code
  • Interior Trim code

PR numbers

PR numbers are primary option numbers. They are 3 digit number and letter sequences and are listed in a block on the data sticker. Each PR number relates to a specific option fitted to the car.

An example of this would be:

  • 6E3 - Front Centre Armrest
  • 7D3 - CD Changer
  • 0F3 - Diesel Fuel System

We hope this information helps you to find the right part for your car.
