How to find the perfect fit!

Vintage clothes shopping can be hard when you can't try items on, or inspect them for damage. You can't cover yourself for every eventuality, but there are some steps you can take to give yourself a good chance!
1 - Remember that vintage sizes are often very different to sizes now. Hell, nowadays sizing differs wildly from shop to shop, so this is a minefield. Your best bet is to read the description carefully as a lot of sellers will say, 'fits like a modern ...' or will take measurements and list them. This way, you can take a similar item you own and compare measurements, to see if this is likely to be a good fit.
2 - Condition. Check pictures carefully and also read the description to see what condition the item is in. It may need a little work to become wearable, so you need to know before bidding as we aren't all great seamstresses!
3 - Check out your seller. If they have lots of good feedback, great! If they accept returns at your own cost, even better. Also, ask any questions you may have - better to have all the answers before you make a bid!

Once you are happy that the item is right for you and should fit, make a bid! Happy shopping :)
