This is a very short guide in what to look for in a genuine Wade Natwest Pig Moneybox.

Baby Woody, Annabel, Maxwell, Lady Hilary, Sir Nathaniel, Cousin Wesley.

WOODY (BABY)
Woody was the first pig produced in the collection.
Body glazed pink in colour (shades vary)
White glazed Nappy
Grey glazed nappy pin
Eyes are glazed White/black
Measures 139mm across the base (widest point)
Stands at 136mm tall.
Base glazed White, Unglazed white rim.
Embossed ‘WADE ENGLAND’ on base.

Baby Woody (Sunshine Ceramics - Pre Wade)
Same as above apart from:
Eyes are glazed pink/black
Plain White glazed Base (Not Embossed), Unglazed rim.
There are also afew other designs about all thought to be prototypes.

ANNABEL (DAUGHTER)
Annabel (school girl) was the second pig produced in the collection.
Body pink in colour, Glazed (shades vary)
Eyes are glazed white/black, Long eye lashes.
Dress is dark green in colour, Glazed
Shirt is white in colour, Glazed
Tie is Yellow in colour with Green stripes, Glazed
Back pack, Light blue with Brown strap, Glazed
Measures 94mm across the base (widest point)
Stands at 160mm tall.
Base glazed pink, Unglazed white rim.
Embossed ‘WADE ENGLAND’ on base.
Some are also Embossed ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ on base.

MAXWELL (SON)
Maxwell (son) was the third pig produced in the collection.
Body pink in colour, Glazed (shades vary)
Eyes are Transfer Printed white/black
Trousers/braces  are dark blue (some colours vary slightly) Glazed
Tie is white transfer printed with red stripes.
Measures 132mm across the base (Widest point)
Stands at 172mm tall.
Base glazed pink, Unglazed white rim.
Embossed ‘WADE ENGLAND’ on base.

LADY HILARY (MOTHER)
Lady hilary (mother) was the third pig produced in the collection.
Body pink in colour, Glazed (shades vary)
Eyes are glazed white/black, Long eye lashes.
Skirt is a very dark blue in colour, Glazed
Shirt is light blue in colour, Glazed
Tie is very dark blue in colour, Glazed
Hand bag, Grey in colour, Glazed
Measures 115mm across the base (widest point)
Stands at 187mm tall.
Base glazed pink, Unglazed white rim.
Embossed ‘WADE ENGLAND’ on base.

SIR NATHANIEL (FATHER)
Sir nathaniel (father) was the fith pig produced in the collection.
Body pink in colour, Glazed (shades vary)
Eyes are Transfer Printed white/black
Jacket is gloss black in colour with red handkerchief, Glazed
Trousers are also black in colour, Glazed
Shirt you can just about see this, White in colour, black button detailing, Glazed
Bow tie is red in colour, Glazed
Measures 131mm across the base (widest point)
Stands at 187mm tall.
Base glazed pink, Unglazed white rim.
Embossed ‘WADE ENGLAND’ on base.
Please beware there are alot of fakes about:
Look for lack of quality in the decoration & lack of detail on his neck tie.
The trotters are also abit of a giveaway, Have a look & see if they are over sized & untidy.

WESLEY (COUSIN)
Wesley (cousin) was the final pig produced in 1998 to complete the collection
He is very rare as there were only 5000 ever produced, Beware of fakes.
Body pink in colour, Glazed (shades vary)
Eyes are pink/small back pupil.
Jacket is pea green in colour, Black neatly painted Buttons
Hat dark blue in colour, Glazed
Trousers are also dark blue in colour, Glazed
Measures 102mm across the base (widest point)
Stands at 146mm tall. (or within a couple of mm's of 146mm)
Weight close to 375g but can be afew grams either side
Stopper hole should be perfectly round & a tight snug fit.
Inside the stopper hole should be pure unglazed white.
Base glazed pink, Unglazed white rim also should be neat & tidy
Embossed ‘WADE ENGLAND’ on base.
Please beware as there are alot of fakes floating around on ebay.
Avoid wesleys that measure 112mm or 96mm across the widest point of the base.
Also hae a good look at the coin slot its should be 5mm wide in most fakes its larger.
Remember just because if has the original box doesnt make it genuine.
