Walkera helicopters - Just say no!

I've had a few helicopters made by this company, and they are beautifully made, attractive machines.

Unfortunately, the engineering leaves a lot to be desired, and I've had enough experience now, and researched other people's experinence enough to know that they are not good.

A good example of what I mean is the walkera 52 of which I have spent a lot of time trying to make work, and ultimately it was a waste of my time and money. For example the main motor as supplied in that 130 quid helicopter is good for a maximum of 1.5 hours before it burns out. One of mine lasted 15 minutes... when you finally do get one off the ground the flying is, well, nasty.

A couple of mates bought the chinook #38 model. It looked to be a big improvement on the twister chinook that I bought. Both suffered early life electronics failures, not good at this price point.

I know there will be people who don't like or agree with my findings. Let them waste their money, you can buy much better helicopters for the same (or less) money.

Disclaimer: I currently have no commercial interest in RC helicopters, I just don't like overpriced, under performing helicopters, and see no need to keep quiet.
