The telecom industry is undergoing a 'cleanup' process to free up the block of frequencies currently used by analogue TV. Don't buy professional radio microphone equipment that operates on Channel 69 for use in the UK - OFCOM are cancelling the operating licence for that channel soon and any equipment that uses it is totally worthless unless it can be converted to the new legal channel 38. Most can't be converted - the government is offering a compensation scheme to legally registered licence holders who use this kit, but some unscrupulous people are bound to try to sell the obsolete stuff if they can get away with it - don't get caught out!
There are also other frequencies for semi-pro use that currently sit between the frequencies of the analogue TV spectrum which will also soon be obsolete. Please check carefully before you buy.
Warning - Many Radio Microphones soon to be obsolete
