Having made my purchase, I read many negative reports on this company. They sent me a confirmation e-mail stating 90 days delivery when the advert stated 60 days and I only manged to speak to someone when I read in another review that you should dial 106 as soon as you receive their recorded message. I spoke to Andrew who told me that I would get a delivery confirmation within 3 weeks and delivery would be within 2 weeks of receiving that. As the promised e-mail had not arrived, I called back and Andrew gave me a date over the telephone and confirmed it by e-mail. On the morning of promised delivery I 'phoned ParcelForce, as instructed, to check on delivery time, only to be told they had no delivery for me ! I was just starting the PayPal dispute process when the doorbell rang and one of Wessex Teaks own trucks was at my front door. The quality of the garden furniture is fantastic and it was delivered, as promised, five weeks after my successful bid.
Was I lucky or do these guys simply need to give customers better access to improve their image ?
