We have been so disapointed with the service from wessex teak furniture, unlike some of the other reviews we did actually receive our 6 garden chairs and 1 1.3m round table. The table is unsturdy and the slightest bit of movement rocks the table, not good when you want to eat off the table. The chairs are also not solid like they quote and move when you sit on them. We have contacted wessex teak many times (each time we phone they say email, each time we email they say no you must phone us) a clever way of them never having to deal with you, the customer. When you do finally get in touch with someone they say they are not aware of your case and say they will get a manager to ring you back this never happens!

When our complaint did finally go in and they came to collect our rocky unsolid table (thanks to my persistant husband) they kept it for 2 months (of course during the summer) and when it did get returned to us it was in the same state and they refused to take it back. When I rang their off ice and spoke to a manager called Mark he raised his voice at me, told me me there was something wrong with me and my husband, that we were obsessed with the fact 'we thought their quality product was infact poor quality'! Their customer service is so poor, they refuse to try and solve the problem they created. Even their delivery drivers have a sharp tongue on them.

On further research this company have been reported to watchdog and to essex trading standards, need I say more? Report them if you have had a problem, the more complaints the higher the chance of the company being investigated and action taken against them.
