Do not use wheelcourier.com. I have been scammed. After emailing a quotatation request for transporting a pair of steamer chairs weighing 18 kg I was advised to go onto their website and book under "4 wheels at £35 with a £100 insurance cover to transport". Regretfully I did. When the goods did not arrive and numerous emails ignored, I finally recieved a brief email asking why I booked a wheels transportation for chairs. I emailed his quotation back and have heard nothing since. Meanwhile DHL, who picked up the goods have been more than helpful. They tracked the chairs and established where they were last checked in and told me as they were lost to make a claim to Wheelcourier. DHL told me they were subcontracted by Thinkcourier Ltd (now P4d). In theory I would claim against Wheelcourier who would claim against Thinkcourier who would claim against DHL who themselves have insurers. Thinkcourier were also very helpful in that they told me they had indeed been subcontracted by Wheelcourier and that whilst they did not have a phone number they would email Wheelcourier to urge him to settle. They also advised that Wheelcourier had not booked insurance for my chairs. Wheelcouriers address is a serviced office in Cardiff with no telephone contact and is a one man band by a man called Phil. Thinkcourier gave me an additional email contact they had for Phil "dragonrecords@mail.com. I am now persuing via Trading Standards. Please do not put yourselves through this laborous exercise and avoid trading with this dishonest lowlife with zero integrity.
