There's something going on in CelebLand that involves everyone from Harry Styles to Alan Titchmarsh, a few permanent markers and some snapback caps.
For the second year running, Global – big-time broadcaster of stations such as Capital, Heart, Radio X and Classic FM – has rolled out its Make Some Noise campaign, designed to raise awareness of – and funds for – smaller UK charities focused on helping disadvantage young people.
For 2015 Global called on A-list celebs and some of its own presenters to design their own snapback caps, all of which are being auctioned on eBay right now, with all proceeds going to Make Some Noise. Fancy bagging yourself a truly unique item of headgear? Well, you know what they say: If the cap fits (and it almost certainly will because of that adjustable plastic strap thingy at the back) – wear it!
One Direction? Moderately successful pop group with their face literally on everything? Used to be five of 'em, now there's four? No? Never heard of them? Well anyway, these hopeful young triers have gone and signed three snapbacks and put them for auction, and while we doubt there'll be much interest, given their relatively low profile, it'd be nice if you bid 50p on one, just so they don't feel like total lame-os.

Cheeky of grin, quiffy of hair and croony of song, Essex boy Olly has demonstrated that if his pop career goes down the plopper tomorrow he's got some surprisingly strong hat-design skillz to fall back on. Back in the early days of his career, Olly was rarely seen without his trademark trilby – but it seems like even he isn't immune from the siren call of the snapback.

“Hahaa! You've got massive, smoochy lipstick-marks all over your cap!” is what people will say to you. “Oh, I'm well aware,” you'll respond, un-phased by their mocking laughter. “And do you know who made these lipstick-marks? Well I'll tell you: Myleene Klass. Myleene Klass kissed my snapback all over.” And suddenly the laughter will cease, replaced by the silence of newfound, awed respect...

5 Seconds Of Summer
All four members of pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer (or 5SOS, if you're under 21/down wit da kidz) have designed snapbacks for Make Some Noise, each more rowdy and bum-kicky than the last. Fair warning: 5SOS are Australian, so don't be surprised if you bid on one of their caps, win it, then open your parcel to discover that it's upside-down, rendering it completely unwearable.

2015's biggest girl band went full-on bananas with the glitter and love-hearts, and the end results are the glitteriest, love-heartiest hats in all the known universe. Each cap is up for grabs on a separate auction, so you'll have to choose between Jade's, Perrie's, Leigh-Anne's or Jesy's. But do you go for your favourite member, or your favourite design? OMG OMG decisions decisions...
British boy band The Vamps have designed a snapback apiece (that's four caps in all, maths fans), and given that they're on the verge of being One Direction-massive, you can expect these auctions to be more competitive and elbow-bargey than the first ten minutes of the Boxing Day sales. At the time of writing Bradley's cap was bagging the boldest bids – but there's still a wee while to go...

The reigning kings of the UK dance scene came up with a suitable energetic design for their snapback. It's most definitely “mental”, although not particularly “rudey” (which is good as it means you won't get turfed out of Tesco Metro for wearing it), and it's guaranteed to be 100% rave-ready – just don't forget to position the brim around the back for maximum bass-addict stylin'.

As a mainstay of Heart FM, Jamie serves up the kind of smooth-groovin', finger-clickin', chorus-hummin' songs that caress the ears and rub the temples. So it's a little shocking to note that he's opted for such an uproarious and anti-social design – “NOISE!” – on his snapback. Tsk. Honestly! Next thing we know he'll be smashing guitars up on air and drunkenly burping at callers.

Carly Rae Jepson
We really really really really really really like Carly's snapback design, despite it being something of an emotional rollercoaster that transported us through dizzy highs and crashing lows and left us feeling really quite exhausted. And that was just from looking at it – imagine if you owned it, and could actually wear it! Go bid on it – you know you want to.

Last But Definitely Not Least... It's Alan Titchmarsh
If your mum's been itching to get in on the snapback game but can't find a cap that reflects her on-road steez, this design from ol' Twinkle-Eyes Titchmarsh might be just the ticket. When Mum swagz into the local garden centre wearing this bad boy, it's all over. She just changed da game. It's right there on her head for all to see: Alan is her homeboy – he popped a cap on her.
