There isn't much to be said about this item, it's great!
However from a buyers perspective please note the following.
Argos Reservation sales:
Argos are wise to this and are cancelling any and all reservations of Wii Fit.
Someone I know reserved one online at Burgess Hill, drove 14 miles there only to find it had been cancelled and put back onto stock, when they asked the managers name so they could write and complain they were only told the first name not the surname! That's bad!
Sellers selling stuff they don't have:
Big problem, be wary of any listings that are library pictures, for example a picture pulled from the web of the item. We all know how shops like to take our orders and let us down. Some sellers assume their Wii Fit boards are on their way and list in advance only to let the buyer down.
USA and Japanese models:
The boards themselves work fine and use batteries, the games however do not, there are many types of Pal, Japanese PAL games do not work on UK systems and the USA games are NTSC.
Sellers splitting packs:
I've seen a few listings on here that appear cheap but on further scrutiny they are selling just the game, or just the board. Make sure the listing says Wii fit game and Balance board or similar.
I had a couple of people ask what the maximum weight is, it's 25 stone which is a quarter of a Cow or two Sheep (sheared) :D
High Postal Charges:
These items weigh about 5 kilos so expect postage to be high, please do not look bad on those who charge a lot in postage.
The actual postage cost price (not including packaging) is £20.70 for special delivery, £12.80 (ish) for first class recorded, £14.99 Parcelforce 48 and £19.99 Parcelforce 24 and about £9 standard parcels.
Taking into account Ebay and Paypal fees you are not paying much more than RRP
On a personal note, sometimes I get a few to sell myself, I'm not the cheapest though so shop around!
