welcome to the zakbait 2008 season
2007 was a funny season, the warm spring made for some good catches, fish of 20, 30, 40lbs were captured early on,
then the summer, wet and miserable might sum it up, the catches of carp and cats fell dramatically, there were reports of viral infections killing carp country wide, all the rain lowered the oxygen levels in the water making all sorts of fish harder to catch.
we had reports in the late summer of carp to just under the 30lb mark being captured on our smaller pellets 50mm ?.
2008 we hope will be a more stable year weather wise and that catches should if that happens increase, we have scorced our main ingredients from organic suppliers, the flavourings are naturally based and from sustainable scorces.
as with all our baits we use no chemical ingredients or preservatives and therefore all our baits have to be kept in the freezer.again there are a couple of new flavours this year
we would like to also make the point again, that if a few pellets are left in a sealed plastic bag in a warm place to rot slightly ( grow a white mould on them ) they have proven to be very attractive to catfish, they absolutely stink
good luck for the coming season and tight lines
