just a word of warning on the prices of books on ebay, I recently bought a History of the London Taxi book, listed as Buy It Now £10 or best offer. Since p&p was £1.49 a bid £8.51 to make the round total £10. The book was delivered promptly and well packaged in a jiffy envelope but when i saw the rrp of £5.99 i was a wee bit annoyed so i contacted the seller, first email was ignored, second was answered with a rather patronising email explaining the costs involved in buying the book at rrp in a store to sell on ebay (like thats really what happened, who buys stuff at full price to sell on ebay?!!) then listing fees, final percentage taken by ebay then fees by paypal. We've all bought and sold on ebay before so we're all well aware of the costs involved!! I have opened a dispute with the seller because all i was asking for was the difference in the price to be refunded so i will see what happens, however i cannot leave negative feedback for this 'powerseller' within 1 week of transaction which is infuriating! i have checked their feedback and they've done this before. My advice would be to check the rrp of a book before buying it from certain sellers. Most sellers are very honest and helpful but this experince has really spurred me on to offer this advice. I know it may seem petty for such a small amount of money but thats not the point!
