As you've already heard, buying a second hand mobile is fraught with danger.
Do check exactly what your getting for your money. What accessories (if any) are coming and how they intend to package it.
What grade is it?
New is unused but box might be opened.
Grade A is lightly used with very light markings on it.
Grade B is used with some markings and scratches on it.
Grade C is pretty rough really.. skid marks from sliding across stone floors and chips and cracks to be expected from heavy use.
Also its actually worth asking "does the phone work fully?" seems like a stupid question, but if you don't ask .. you get what I've had in the past and trust me.. it's not a good deal in the long run. (last one I bought was a grade C and packaged in an envelope with no accessories and didn't work... stupid me for not checking. Not a mistake I'll make again)
Also (and obviously I know) DO check the feed back.. just because there are negatives doesn't mean that you can't buy from them. But DO make sure that you read what the negative says and how they responded. You can't please everybody all the time.
Finally, do find out if you can return the item if its faulty.
Good luck if you're out buying a second hand phone. You'll need it. :D
