I recently purchased a clock described as "a gorgeous vintage oak mantle clock" from Serendipity Online Auctions, who trade from 77 High Street Tarvin Chester. The item was a fake made out of plywood and atrificialy aged.It looked good on pictures but when you scaped the sprayed on oak colour woodstain it proved to be made of plywood. The desription was completely false. They have not replied to any communication, and so I am at the moment going through a Court case against them. The only other thing that is not right is that that some dealers postal charges are excessively high especialy where multiple items are purchased. Having said that I have had some very good experiences with straight dealers that it has been a pleasur to deal with.
